Oregon is the first of now eight states and territories preparing to enroll newborns in BRIDGES-NBS, with in-person recruitment at PeaceHealth-Eugene and OHSU and statewide self-enrollment open to families. The state’s newborn screening program sees genome sequencing as a way to expand screening from 46 conditions to more than 700!
